Swatch Jelly Fish Chronometer
GK124
Manufactured in 1985 and submitted to COSC for certification in 1990, as the last batch of watches was processed under the old chronometer stadard, this otherwise very ordinary Swatch comes complete with a COSC chronometer certificate. The COSC certificate states that the movement of this watch has the number 2489 (COSC tests movements, not watches), but I have recorded this as the serial number of the watch, rather than as the movement number, as it is the unique identifying number stamped on the back of the watch case and does not seem to correspond to a typical ETA movement number. In the absence of a factory SPY value, I have attributed the value of 60 SPY to this watch, as this was the threshold it would have to have passed in order to gain COSC certification.
Some details for this watch may be missing because it is kept several thousand miles away, in the UK.
